 FRIENDSHIP


Today is the first Sunday of August. So, I thought of writing a blog on so-called Friendship Day.


Good friends care for each other,

Close friends understand each other,

But TRUE FRIENDS stay forever…

Beyond words, Beyond distance, Beyond time!

 



WHAT ARE GOOD FRIENDS?

Most of us have friends, some lasting for days and some lifelong. Some are childhood friends. But on getting older, we lose the bond of some friendships. Some friendships are made in schools and colleges, but over time one moves away or a busy schedule slowly pulls us apart and we start to lose touch. Also, when we meet, we act a little formally. These friends come under the category of good friends.





WHAT IS A TRUE FRIEND?

Besides good friends, true friends are the ones to whom we show mutual attachment, caring, and understanding each other’s hearts. Here no distance, time, and words can keep them apart. A true friend is the one to whom we call a best friend. And we are way more informal to them!

A good friend knows all your best stories. The best friend has lived them with you.







Sometimes it is difficult to find a true and a best friend, as people nowadays have more than two faces! And it becomes difficult to recognize which face is real. The same happened to me 3 years ago. 


There was a friend of mine, let us name her “X.” She was something else in front of me and was just opposite on my back. I was in a delusion that she is my best friend until she did something big at my back. And at that time, I was not ready to accept that she can do something like this. I was hurt badly. And from that day to till date I haven’t spoken a word to her. After that, I literally isolated myself and didn’t want to make friends anymore.


But yes, after years of betrayal I have one fabulous friend of mine to whom this time I can literally say as the true and a best friend. Those who have already found their best buddy are the luckiest! And those who haven’t found one, I wish them luck.

 




Anything is possible when you have the right person and a best friend to support you and to also oppose and fight with you when you are fallacious but still be there in need.
